Erasmus Programs
All Unicollege students have the opportunity to spend a semester at a partner university abroad through the Erasmus+ program, which provides European Union scholarships. During their exchange, students will attend language courses and take exams that will be recognized as part of their academic curriculum.
Additionally, Unicollege students can gain professional experience abroad through the Erasmus Placement program, which allows them to intern at companies, institutions, training centers, and research organizations in one of the Erasmus Program member countries.
Through bilateral agreements between Unicollege and leading non-European universities, students can also spend a semester studying in Asia or Latin America. For example, they may take Chinese-language courses in Taiwan that count towards their academic curriculum or study Spanish in Argentina, expanding their international learning experience.
The Erasmus+ program also facilitates faculty exchanges, welcoming visiting professors from partner universitieswho conduct workshops and in-depth seminars in their native languages on subjects they teach in their home institutions.
Furthermore, students can participate in the Erasmus Buddy program, acting as mentors and guides for international exchange students. This initiative is an excellent opportunity to immerse oneself in diverse cultures, which is one of the core objectives of international exchange programs.

Erasmus +
The Erasmus+ program provides students with the opportunity to spend a semester at one of Unicollege’s partner universities in a participating European country, broadening their academic and cultural horizons while gaining valuable international experience.
This exchange program is particularly recommended for students who wish to enhance their academic journey by:
- Developing linguistic and intercultural competencies essential for navigating an increasingly globalized world.
- Strengthening communication and problem-solving skills, which are highly sought after in professional environments.
- Acquiring transversal skills that are particularly valued by employers, such as adaptability, resilience, and cross-cultural collaboration.
The Erasmus+ study period typically lasts five months, during which students engage in coursework aligned with their academic program. Upon completion, credits earned at the host institution are formally recognized and transferred, replacing equivalent courses in their study plan.
To support students financially, Erasmus+ scholarships are available to help cover expenses related to travel, accommodation, and living costs. These grants are awarded based on merit rankings established by the Erasmus Office, ensuring that students receive the necessary support to fully immerse themselves in this transformative academic experience.
Students interested in applying for the Erasmus+ mobility program are invited to submit their application – in accordance with the annual report in the Student Portal.
Applications must be completed electronically and sent via email to: erasmus@unicollegessml.it.

Our Student’s Testimonials

Erasmus Placement in Germany
“Hello everyone, I’m Filippo Avietti, a third-year Marketing and Communication student at Unicollege Florence. For my mandatory internship, I chose a three-month Erasmus experience in Bonn, Germany, working in a marketing company that helps Italian businesses enter the German market. It was an incredible opportunity to improve my language skills, gain work experience, and travel. Returning wasn’t easy, but I’m grateful for stepping out of my comfort zone. I highly recommend this experience—it’s amazing how much you can grow in just a few months!”

Erasmus +
“La Grande Place, Bruxelles.
Being on Erasmus means being able to travel a lot and discover new places, just like we did in Belgium!”
